  • 1.) Download Steam
  • 2.) Install VRChat on Steam
  • 3.) Start VRChat
  • 4.) Login to VRChat with your Steam Account
  • 5.) Exit VRChat
  • 6.) A Window should appear, looking like this.
  • 7.) Proceed and install the exe
  • 8.) Now you are able to open VRchat links.
  • Now you should be able to follow the link to VRChat to enter VRClub Berlin. After choosing an Avatar you are finally ready.
    See you on the dancefloor!

ABOUT THE PROJECT


This project was initiated during the #wirvsvirus hackathon in march 2020, see submission. In 48h we kickstarted a prototype of a virtual club connected with the live streams by unitedwestream.berlin. Staying home is the one contribution every one of us can make in order to slow down the spreading of SARS-CoV-2. But being social animals, especially if you enjoy a good party with friends dancing to incredible music, it can be very challenging for many of us. This is why we joined together to create a virtual club, creating an alternative space to keep our “normal” life going in another way. We hope that we can bring a piece of Berlin to your home - enjoy the night!

Little notice before you loose yourself in the night!

The Berlin Club Culture is facing it´s biggest challenge in history. On Friday, the 13th of March, the whole of Berlin´s night life was officially shut down to prevent the spreading of the Corona Virus. Therefore, about 9000 employees, as well as tens of thousands of artists are without work and wages and the many places that give Berlin part of it´s identity face their ruin.
